Nomination Process Terms and Conditions


Eligibility is detailed at in the ‘Judging Process’ section found here.  Anyone may nominate their company for an award.

Nominations must be received by Monday 15th April 2019 to be considered for the Launch: Great West Awards.

Nominations can be submitted via the Launch: Great West Awards page or via email.  Where desired, the nomination may be supported by any relevant additional materials or supplementary information, please email attachments to awards@spin-up.science with “Launch: GW – “Company Name”” in the subject line.

We are not responsible for any entries that we do not receive for any reason, or for entries we receive that are indecipherable for any reason.  We will automatically disqualify any incomplete or illegible entries.

You must have obtained any and all consents, approvals or licenses for you to submit your entry.  

The judging panel reserves the right to move applicants to categories where they will be most suitable. All judges decisions are final.  In the event of a tie between any entries, the tie will be broken by an additional judge (selected by the judges) who will judge the entries based on the criteria listed on the form above.

We reserve the right to modify, add or remove award categories at any time.

At least one representative from finalist companies should attend the event on June 6th and if you are unable to attend then another finalist will be chosen. If you are chosen as a finalist, you will be contacted regarding your application. If you do not respond within the time period listed on the notification message, we may select an alternative finalist. If the notification that we send is returned as undeliverable, you are unreachable for any reason or we do not receive a response from you, we may also select an alternative finalist.

Winners will be announced at the Launch: Great West Awards ceremony on the night of 6th June 2019.

Privacy and GDPR


In submitting this nominations form you consent to having Launch: Great West receive and store all provided information in order to consider your application for the awards. All nominations submitted will be handled by Spin Up Science, who’s privacy policy can be viewed here. The information supplied and submitted as part of this nomination will be shared with the Launch: Great West judging panel.  

Spin Up Science will use the contact information provided on this nomination form to contact you about the progress of your application and keep you updated with arrangements for Launch: Great West. Information will only be used in a manner reasonably required to run the event. Spin up Science does not sell, share, or rent information to third parties. Any use of information not disclosed here will only be made with your express permission.
